Try this fun technique to make some new artwork for the fridge!

Blowing bubbles develops breathing skills and mouth movement which in turn aids language development!

Describing bubbles and art with words like transparent, iridescent, translucent, creative, and abstract builds vocabulary promotes confidence, and helps memory recall!

How would you describe your bubble art?

Activity Instructions:

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Skill Level: Easy

You Will Need:

  • Paint
  • Shallow bowls
  • Bubble wands
  • Bubble mixture
  • Paper
  • Newspaper or a plastic table cloth

Step One:

Prepare your painting area: put down newspaper or a plastic table cloth because these bubbles get messy!

Layout your bowls and add your bubble mixture.

Home-made or store-bought bubble mixture works fine- find our recipe for MOTAT bubble mixture here.

Step Two:

Add your paint to the bubble mixture and stir well.

Step Three:

Grab your paper and bubble wand, and start blowing bubbles at the paper- the effect works best when you blow the bubble so it sits on the page, and you can pop it on there!

Dry your art on a flat surface to avoid the bubble mixture running on the paper.
