Though atmospheric engineering efforts remain ongoing, Miaborosian citizens can nevertheless all breathe a little easier with the completion of the New Valeswick mega-dome. Covering almost 800 square kilometers of the planet’s surface, the mega-structure now provides a carefully controlled artificial environment for 8 million of the planet’s residents.
The transmission goes on to detail the extensive progress that has been made on-world during this time. Atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature are steadily climbing, and small bodies of liquid water have now appeared on the planet’s surface.
Despite terraforming experts predicting at least another 100 years until planetary conditions allow for unassisted living, the completion of the New Valeswick mega-dome will no-doubt provide a welcome taste of things to come for the planet’s inhabitants.
